Family Of Hit and Run Victim Appeals for the driver to come forward

Erie police continue the hunt for the car, the family of Erie man slain by a hit and run at the weekend to speak out.

As we have reported that the accident happened just after midnight Sunday, along the West 38th Street, near Raspberry.
51 years old David Hamilton, was beaten and slain when he tried to cross the street stabbing. The driver took. Researchers Say
it was a GMC Envoy that hit him.
We spoke with two of his children.
They say the night before the fatal accident, they are all famous son of David, Jonathan graduated from Edinboro University.
And when they lose, they are appealing for the driver to come.

“I want them to know that he is a grandfather, he was a father and a lot of people miss him, and they just want closure. They just want to know what happened.” Said Jonathan Hamilton.

Erie police are looking for a 2002-2009 GMC Envoy with a broken right headlight, and possible damage to the hood and windshield.
